1. Kostic (different class to the others), his deadballs alone would elevate us.
2. Sarr. Pace and imapact (all be it inconsistent)
3. Dennis. Proven impact form a goals and assists perspective, gives good cover at CB if Antonio becomes our LW starter, with Scamacca up top.
4. Cornet. Not convinced he's not just another Masuaku.

I've no doubt someone like Kostic who's perfected putting in a decent cross will have an area/zone he will work in and as he gets older will have other younger players to do the pacey running and look to put the ball in that area/zone so he can do his magic it's why it's a team game.....some players are worth making the effort to keep going.....

£20m is allot of money for a player who is turning 30 this year and if we want pace he is only going to get slower.
I like the look of Cornet and Dennis who have both looked good in glimpses and have Premier League experienced. They are 25 and 24 respectively so if it works out we would not need to looks at replacing them for a good few years.

Bumaldo is still pretty lively for a player over 35. He is a freak though.

Fitness levels have improved a lot, yes. But the main benefit there is stamina, so they can still run up and down the pitch for 90 mins. The fact that players get slower as they age hasn't changed at all and never will.
Who are all these pacey 34 year olds at the top of their game that you mention?

Nagel, Age doesn't seem to be as important as it once was. There's a number of players who are at least 5 years older than Kostic and are still at the top of their game: fitness levels have improved a lot.

None of them. We have the world class Massuaku who can do the job, and also fill in at LWB.

For no real reason I'd pick Sarr. Premier league experience counts for something, and I would expect he'd be keen on staying in the top tier. Onana is preferable however, but that mooted transfer seems to have gone cold.

I wouldn't like Kent, he's very good on his day but last season he was very poor the majority of the time.

my first choices for the left hand side would be Ryan Kent or Harvey Barnes but the price on both would probably be too much, so I'd instead take KOSTIC

Kostic
Sarr
Dennis
Cornet
Cornet will go to Everton though as the Fat one seems intent on recreating last seasons Burnley team

Ideally I'd like a LW who can also play up front so out of those 4 would be Dennis first choice, then Cornet.
Kostic would be great for pumping crosses in, but might be better as a wing back. If you're looking for someone with pace in the final 3rd, probably best not to buy someone who'll be 30 in a few months time, because that speed will just go down and down.
